Opening MAY 30:
Marvel's AVENGERS: S.T.A.T.I.O.N. (Scientific Training and Tactical Intelligence Operative Network): Is a STEM-based, immersive experience that brings you into the world of the AVENGERS. Visitors of all ages are granted S.H.I.E.L.D. access to official headquarters and taken deep into the Marvel Cinematic Universe as they train to become an agent. Trainees will have open access to a vast array of intelligence files, classified studies, and experiments that explore the history and scientific origins of Marvel's Avengers. NASA, The Science and Entertainment Exchange (a program of the National Academy of Sciences), Neuroverse, and Thwacke have all collaborated on this interactive experience. Map the stars to Asgard, learn to operate Iron Man's suit, witness the neurological effects of Bruce Banner's transformation into the Hulk, and physically test yourself against Captain America. New agents will be given unprecedented access to some of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s most highly guarded artifacts such as Captain America's Birth Pod, the Tesseract, Loki's Scepter, a hermetically sealed Chitauri recovered after the Battle of New York, and more!
Experience the science and splendor of the human body through Plastination, a breakthrough in anatomy invented by trailblazing scientist, Gunther von Hagens. Learn about the human body, its form and function, its vulnerability and potential, and the challenges it faces navigating the 21st century. BODY WORLDS: PULSE is an inspiring, immersive multimedia exhibition about health, wellness, and living to the beat of life in a vibrant, fast-paced city. It is an exhibition unlike any other. Body donors who willed their bodies, after death, for plastination and the education of future generations, act as guides and teachers on this unforgettable journey of discovery.

EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS: $5 per participant, minimum 25 people.
System Wars: Students collaborate to assemble a system of the body. Using graphic images, labels, and information learned during their gallery visit through Body Worlds: Pulse, students will have 10 minutes in small groups to create their assigned system. When completed, students will present their system and its function. With the guidance of workshop leaders, students will engage in a discussion on how their bodies work and how to keep their bodies healthy. This workshop can be scheduled either before or after your gallery visit but we recommend afterwards. Recommended for grades 5-8.
Rapid Pulse Battle: Students compete, quiz show fashion, to answer questions about the human body. Fun and collaborative, students' knowledge is tested on subjects like the Nervous System, the Skeletal System, fetal and infant development, and how are bodies are affected by the world around us. Recommended for grades 9-12.
