Is the exhibition accessible for disabled patrons?

Yes, all of the exhibitions and Discovery Times Square are accessible for disabled patrons. Wheelchairs, elevators, and wheelchair-accessible restroom facilities are available for those requiring assistance.

Are wheelchairs permitted inside the exhibition?

Yes, wheelchairs are permitted inside the exhibition. A limited number of wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis for visitors to borrow during their visit, and these can be requested at the bag check.

Are strollers permitted inside the exhibition?

Strollers and baby back carriers are not permitted inside the exhibition and must be checked prior to entering at the complimentary bag check.

What are the hours of the exhibition?

Discovery Times Square is open 7 days a week. 


Hours of operation are as follows - please check back prior to your visit for the most up-to-date hours:

Sunday - Tuesday: 10 AM - 7 PM
Wednesday and Thursday: 10 AM - 8 PM
Friday and Saturday: 10 AM - 9 PM

Please be advised that school tour hours are: Monday - Friday, 10am - 1pm.

How long does it take to see the exhibition?

The average visit through the exhibitions is 60-90 minutes each. All exhibition tours are self-guided. Visits may be slightly longer if you walk through with an audio guide. During group visits, as well as some weekends and holidays the experience may be longer.

Is the Body Worlds exhibition appropriate for children?

More than 34 million people, including young children, have viewed the BODY WORLDS exhibitions around the world. BODY WORLDS is a wonderful opportunity for children, as well as for adults, to explore, discover and learn together. The exhibition's goal is to create an educational experience for visitors of all ages to explore and witness the human body first hand. Allowing an in-depth exploration of the human body, BODY WORLDS presents anatomy in a way never experienced through conventional textbooks, educational tools and lessons. Visitors who are familiar with the nature of the exhibits often have a more enjoyable and valuable educational experience. Please review the materials on before deciding whether or not to bring your children/students to the exhibition. It is important to note that the exhibition includes both male and female full-body plastinates with exposed genital organs.

We recommend the BODY WORLDS exhibits for school groups in Grades 5 and up.

May my child visit an exhibition without my supervision? 

All children age 11 or younger must be accompanied into the exhibition by a ticketed adult age 18 or older.

Is there an audio guide for any of the exhibitions?

Yes, there is an audio tour for Body Worlds: Pulse available in both English and/or Spanish available for a surcharge. There is also a mobile guide available for The Hunger Games: The Exhibition in English only. 

Is photography permitted in the exhibition?

Non-flash photography is permitted inside The Hunger Games: The Exhibition only. Photography is prohibited inside the Body Worlds: Pulse. The use of tripods, selfie sticks, and video/audio recording of any kind are not permitted anywhere in the exhibitions.  

Are food and drinks permitted in the exhibition?

No food or drink is permitted inside the exhibition.

Is a bag check available?

Complimentary bag checks are available to safely store strollers, baby back carriers, backpacks, shopping bags or large bags, which are not permitted inside the galleries. All articles must be claimed before the museum closes. The museum is not responsible for articles left overnight. The museum reserves the right to inspect any parcel brought into the premises. The Museum’s total liability for items left in the bag check is half the purchase price of the item up to $50.00.

Can I come dressed in costume to any of the exhibitions?

Yes. However, please note the following: A patron's face should not be masked at any time. Prop weapons will be permitted providing they are composed of cardboard, foam or other light materials. Functional weapons or realistic replicas will not be permitted. DTS Management reserves the right to refuse admission to any patron not following this policy and shall have sole discretion in any matter that it believes may affect the safety or comfort of its patrons and employees.

Is parking available?

Meyer's Parking is located just 1 block east at
146 West 44th St. (btwn 6th & Broadway), entrance also on 43rd St.  

Additional Meyer's Parking locations at:  334 West 35th St. (btwn 8th & 9th) and 12 West 36th St. (btwn 5th & 6th)

If you opt to purchase a parking pass (available at check-out when purchasing tickets online), please note: when exiting the parking garage, you must present a printed copy of your sales receipt. If you are using the mobile delivery option, please stop by the box office during your visit to Discovery Times Square to request a voucher to present at the parking garage.


What is timed ticketing?

Patrons must purchase exhibition tickets with specific timed entry, in order to control capacity. Guests may begin lining up for the exhibition 10 minutes prior to their ticketed time. It takes approximately 30 minutes to admit all ticket-holders for one time slot when we are at full capacity. During these times, your experience may be longer.

How do I redeem passes and vouchers?

To redeem any eligible passes or vouchers, proceed to the Will Call window. They will present you with a ticket into the next available time slot.

How do I use my New York Pass/Explorer Pass to see an exhibit at Discovery Times Square?

New York Pass
Discovery Times Square accepts the New York Pass. New York Pass holders may visit ONE exhibition of their choosing. Tickets for additional exhibitions may be purchased at the discounted price of $15 per person, plus tax and facility fee. Pass holders may proceed to the Will Call window for tickets.

Explorer Pass
Discovery Times Square accepts the New York Explorer Pass, and is also an authorized seller and voucher redemption location. Explorer Pass holders may visit as many exhibitions as they choose, however, each exhibition counts as one attraction deduction from the card. Pass holders and those redeeming vouchers may proceed to the Will Call window.

Can I enter and exit the exhibition more than once with my ticket?

No re-entries are allowed. Tickets are for one entry per person only. Used tickets will show as such in our system to prevent re-entry, so a guest should be certain to purchase tickets from an official outlet.

Daily Deal Vouchers (Groupon, Living Social, Gilt, etc):

- Vouchers must be redeemed at the box office. No reservations will be accepted online or over the phone.
- Daily Deal vouchers must be redeemed by the expiration date.
- Daily Deal vouchers may NOT be redeemed for advanced tickets for dates/times AFTER the expiration date.
- Once the expiration date has passed, we are required by law to honor the paid value of the Daily Deal voucher.

How much are tickets?

Ticket prices for the general public for either exhibition range from $19.50 for youth (ages 3-11) to $29.50 for adult tickets not including fees and NY sales tax. Discounts apply for youth (ages 3-11) and senior (ages 65+) tickets.  

All sales final. No refunds or exchanges.

Do you offer a military discount?

Yes! Active and retired members of the US Military save $5 when showing a government issued ID in person at the Box Office. Please note this discount is not applicable for online transactions.
